I cannot tell you how much fun we had making this float and driving through the parade this year! And, I just learned we were awarded 3rd place! 🙂
I wanted to create a traveling studio set, and make it look like I was in the middle of a senior session, so we set about creating the scene, and things just all fell into place.
I knew I needed a beautiful girl to be my princess for a day, and was lucky enough to find a local high school senior girl who was willing to come along for the ride!

I am so thankful to my family and friends who helped us pull this together, and of course my Mom and Dad!! This year makes #2 with them driving us along the parade route and throwing candy!

Here is a look into our morning!

This beautiful butterfly stopped by as we were putting the finishing touched on the float! I cannot believe how perfect she looked sitting there! She stayed around for almost 10 minutes, then gracefully flew off, and we decided it was a sign we would have a great day!
